We understand that surgery can be expensive and beyond the means of the average person. We also understand how it feels to be unable to afford the cost of the surgeries that would give a second chance at life. Our vision is to continuously support hospitals that satisfy our stringent standards to carry out annual Surgical Aid Missions with various themes for each year. We understand that life is easier when there is a shoulder to share your burdens, and we are here to offer that shoulder.
SAF understands that endoscopic Minimal Access Surgeries could be expensive and beyond the means of an average income earner. SAF also realizes that everyone needs another opportunity to live a productive life and not pass away as a result of inaccessibility to medical facilities or exorbitant cost of such surgery. We are conscious that life is easier with loved ones around us.
SAF is willing to take that chance with you.
CHANGING THE STATUS-QUO
There are very high-standard medical facilities with the latest technology available in Nigeria at an affordable cost with experts trained in the best facilities in the world. Unfortunately, many patients are unaware of these facilities, or cannot afford the surgery fees in spite of these facts. A major drawback of travelling abroad for surgical treatment is the difficulty to follow up with their surgeons, especially after returning to the home country. In the worst cases, the surgeries are unsuccessful and there is no way the doctors can be held accountable for their actions. This is because they are not subject to our laws and not much can be done to get justice here at home. We understand that finding the best facility for certain surgical procedures can be a stressful process. Worse still, doctors and hospitals are unable to advertise based on existing laws. But you are not alone in this process, we are here for you.
